Liverpool manager Brendan Rodgers has insisted that the club's American owners will provide funds if the Northern Irishman wants to sign new players in the January transfer window.
The former Swansea City boss recently claimed that he would not bring in new faces for the "sake of it", but has no concerns regarding funds for players.
"What I know is that if there is a player or players out there that will improve our team, I know the owners will support that," BBC Sport quotes Rodgers as saying. "They have been outstanding for me. It's just on the availability of the right type of player, and that has to be a player than can come into the team and improve us."
Liverpool will be without striker Daniel Sturridge and captain Steven Gerrard for some time due to injury, leaving Luis Suarez with the task of providing goals for the Merseyside outfit.
