Manchester United have reportedly informed Mason Greenwood that he must train on his own for the foreseeable future.
At the beginning of the week, Greenwood and Manchester City midfielder Phil Foden were removed from the England squad for inviting two Icelandic girls to their hotel room, actions which broke coronavirus regulations in operation at the venue.
While both prospects have since apologised, they have faced heavy criticism, and it now appears that Greenwood has put his participation in United's next competitive fixture in doubt.
According to The Sun, the 18-year-old has been told that he can only arrive at the club's training facilities when manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer and the rest of the first-team squad have left the premises.
The report suggests that this will be enforced for 'the next few days', subsequently ruling Greenwood out of a pre-season friendly against Aston Villa at the weekend.
United do not begin their Premier League campaign until September 19, when they play host to Crystal Palace.
