Louis van Gaal: 'We have to improve with the ball this season'

Manchester United boss Louis van Gaal suggests that his team needs to improve when in possession of the ball this season.

Manchester United manager Louis van Gaal has suggested that his side needs to improve when in possession of the ball.

The Red Devils have looked compact this season and are yet to concede a Premier League goal, but Van Gaal has stated that he wants to see his men refine their play when going forward despite improvements already being made in the team's defensive department.

"I divide football in four main moments and we have two moments where the opponent has ball - and then we are at our best, I think," said Van Gaal, according to The Mirror.

"We proved that last year already and now we are continuing with a lot of clean sheets, so that is very important, but we have to improve when we have the ball."

United are in Champions League action tomorrow night when they take on Club Brugge in Belgium.
