Newcastle United's Rolando Aarons doubtful for West Bromwich Albion clash

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew admits that winger Rolando Aarons is a doubt for his side's clash against West Bromwich Albion due to receiving a knock in training.

Newcastle United boss Alan Pardew has revealed that winger Rolando Aarons is doubtful for his side's clash against West Bromwich Albion on Sunday.

The 20-year-old sustained a knock during a training session this week and could now miss the Magpies' trip to The Hawthorns, which Pardew has admitted is a major blow considering his good performances this season.

"Rolando is a worry for Sunday because he has a little knock that we are concerned about," Pardew told reporters.

"That is disappointing for us because his talent is there for all to see in terms of the little cameos and roles he has had."

Newcastle are 12th in the Premier League ahead of their clash with the Baggies.
