Raphael Varane warns Barcelona: 'Don't slip up'

Raphael Varane warns Barcelona that Real Madrid will be waiting to pounce on their slip-ups as the La Liga title race enters the final stretch.

Raphael Varane has warned Barcelona that title rivals Real Madrid will "battle until the end" as they bid to pip their Catalan rivals to La Liga glory.

Carlo Ancelotti's side smashed Almeria 3-0 on Wednesday night to stay two points adrift of Barca with four games remaining in a thrilling title race.

The Italian coach later claimed he believed that Luis Enrique's charges would not drop any points, but Varane says that the Blancos will be waiting to pounce if they do.

"We'll continue giving it everything until the end of the season and will try to win all our remaining games in order to put pressure on Barcelona," he told Madrid's official website.

"We are going to battle until the end. We are focusing on our upcoming games, we'll see what happens afterwards."

Real travel to top-four hopefuls Sevilla on Saturday.
