David Moyes 'concerned by goal drought'

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes concedes that his team's lack of goals in the new La Liga season are a concern.

Real Sociedad boss David Moyes has admitted that his team's struggles in front of goal in the early part of this season are a concern.

The Basque outfit have still not scored in La Liga this term and were beaten 1-0 by Real Betis in their latest league match on Saturday.

As well as revealing his concern, Moyes also claimed that his side "lacked sufficient quality" in the final third against Betis.

"I'm concerned about the lack of goals," Moyes told reporters.

"We strengthened the squad with a new striker to find those goals, but we lacked sufficient quality in that respect [against Betis]."

Sociedad have drawn two and lost one of their three league games this term.
