Former Tottenham Hotspur centre-forward Jimmy Greaves has insisted that Harry Kane should be in the next England squad.
The 21-year-old has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season for Spurs, which has resulted in calls for him to be included in Roy Hodgson's selection for next month's international matches.
When asked his for his viewpoint, Greaves, who found the net 44 times for the Three Lions, told Sky Sports News: "He's got to carry on developing the way that he has [been]. He's come on the scene and caught people out a little bit.
"Put him in [the England squad]. I can't understand what the argument is about. It's not as though we've got Suarez and Aguero up front. Shove him in and let him have a go. He's an impressive player."
Kane has scored eight goals in 10 outings for England at Under-21 level.
