Report: Arsenal lodge Kevin Grosskreutz bid

Arsene Wenger is reportedly trying to boost his Arsenal squad by signing versatile Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz.

Borussia Dortmund midfielder Kevin Grosskreutz has reportedly been the subject of a £3.7m offer from Arsenal.

Gunners manager Arsene Wenger has already secured the services of Polish youngster Krystian Bielik and he is thought to be on the verge of adding Gabriel Paulista to his squad at the Emirates Stadium.

However, Wenger is eager to make at least one more signing before the deadline passes early next month, with 26-year-old Grosskreutez his major target, according to The Metro.

The report claims that the versatility of the German international is a major attraction for Wenger.

Grosskreutz, who is contracted to Dortmund until June 2016, has made 19 appearances in all competitions this season.
