David Silva: 'There's more to come from Manchester City'

David Silva insists that Manchester City can get better as they attempt to retain the Premier League title.

Manchester City midfielder David Silva has insisted that he and his teammates can improve as they try to chase down Chelsea in the Premier League.

Jose Mourinho's side currently sit at the top of the table, five points ahead of City, who won their second league title last season.

The North-West outfit had a three-game winless run in the league prior to Saturday's 4-2 victory over Hull City at the KC Stadium.

"There is still more to come from us, I think," the Daily Star quotes Silva as saying. "We are not quite at the level we reached last year, when we were better, but with every game that goes we are getting better and better and closer to our very best.

"We have to keep going forward because we have a good team and a great squad, with lots of good players."

Manuel Pellegrini's side now turn their attention to the Champions League as they prepare to take on Roma on Tuesday.
