Mauricio Pochettino admits Harry Kane reliance

Mauricio Pochettino admits that Spurs have grown increasingly reliant on talisman Harry Kane in recent months, but says that Tottenham are not a one-man team.

Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his Tottenham Hotspur team have grown too dependent on in-form striker Harry Kane.

The England hopeful made it seven goals in eight games by opening the scoring in Saturday's 2-1 defeat to Crystal Palace at Selhurst Park.

Despite admitting that the 21-year-old has become a prominent figure for Spurs, Pochettino refutes suggestions that his side are becoming a one-man team.

"We always need to have a good performance from the team," he told The Mirror.

"But it is true that Harry in the last months, in the last games, has been an important player for us. But I think Tottenham as a team is not only one player."

Kane has 17 goals for Tottenham in all competitions this season.
