Shane Long future still unresolved

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long says that he has yet to decide his future with the club.

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long has revealed that his future has yet to be resolved with the club.

The Irish striker was close to leaving for Hull City in the summer, before the deal eventually fell through.

Long has played his way back into the first-team plans with the Baggies and scored twice in their 2-2 draw with Aston Villa on Monday, but admitted that his future is still unclear.

"I tell my agent not to get in touch with me unless there's anything concrete," Long is quoted as saying in the Daily Mail.

"I let him do his job and I can concentrate on the football and training hard to try and stay in the team.

"There are no developments. I'm sure the club will have a think about what's best for them and me and we'll see what happens."

Steve Clarke's side are currently 11th in the Premier League.
