Andy King: Aaron Ramsey will soon be one of the "best midfielders in Europe"

Aaron Ramsey is backed by international teammate Andy King to make his name on the European stage.

Aaron Ramsey can become one of the best midfielders in Europe, according to his Wales teammate Andy King.

The Arsenal man already has two Premier League goals to his name this season as he looks to carry his form over the past 18 months onto the international stage.

"I can't see why he can't go on to become one of the best midfielders in Europe," King is quoted as saying by BBC Sport.

"I was speaking to one of the boys and I said he was Arsenal's best player. I think he's probably been that for the last 18 months.

"[He's been] brilliant for Arsenal and brilliant for Wales as well and to have him in our team is obviously only going to be good things for us."

Wales begin their Euro 2016 campaign in Andorra on Tuesday.
