Paul Lambert pleased with Libor Kozak impact

Aston Villa boss Paul Lambert hails Libor Kozak for the striker's winning goal in Saturday's Premier League victory against Norwich City at Carrow Road.

Aston Villa manager Paul Lambert has praised Libor Kozak for the striker's winning goal in Saturday's Premier League victory at Norwich City.

The Czech international, who joined the club from Lazio in the summer, came off the bench to earn the visitors a 1-0 triumph at Carrow Road as Villa ended a run of three straight defeats.

"Libor came on and to be fair it was at a difficult time," Lambert told the club's official website. "He popped up with the goal that has won us the game.

"He's come here, with how fast it is, and he's endeared himself to the crowd which is great."

Villa host Tottenham Hotspur in round three of the Capital One Cup on Tuesday.
