Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has pulled out of the squad for Germany's friendly clash with Argentina on Wednesday.
The 26-year-old suffered the knock in Bayern's 2-1 win over Borussia Dortmund in the German Super Cup at the weekend.
"This is a real shame. I would have liked to be part of the team for this game. I hope that my teammates will record a win nonetheless," Neuer told the club's official website.
Borussia Monchengladbach goalkeeper Marc-Andre ter Stegen has been called up as a replacement.
