Chelsea team news: Injury, suspension list vs. Brighton & Hove Albion

Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of the Premier League fixture with Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday.

Chelsea are scheduled to return to Premier League action on Wednesday evening with a showdown with Brighton & Hove Albion.

The Blues have experienced mass selection issues of late, but several returning players made an impact as Chelsea defeated Aston Villa by a 3-1 scoreline on Boxing Day.

However, with another fixture in a matter of days and more injuries to contend with, head coach Thomas Tuchel has plenty to ponder ahead of the game at Stamford Bridge.

Here, Sports Mole rounds up all of Chelsea's latest injury and suspension news ahead of their encounter with the Seagulls.

Chilwell has been making excellent progress in his recovery from a knee injury, but he will remain unavailable for the foreseeable future.

Despite returns for Callum Hudson-Odoi and Romelu Lukaku, Werner did not feature at Villa Park. Nevertheless, the German may be back in contention on Wednesday night.
