Report: Chelsea recall Eva Carneiro to training ground

Chelsea team doctor Eva Carneiro is reportedly summoned back to the club's training ground for the first time since incurring Jose Mourinho's wrath on the opening day.

Chelsea have reportedly recalled team doctor Eva Carneiro to their training ground on Friday after six weeks away from the club.

Carneiro was banned from the Blues bench after being criticised by Jose Mourinho for running onto the pitch along with club physio Jon Fearn to treat Eden Hazard against Swansea City on the opening day of the season.

Neither Carneiro nor Fearn have featured on the touchline since the incident but reports earlier this month claimed that Carneiro was planning to take legal action against the club if they did not reinstate her.

According to The Telegraph, the doctor was told to report back for work at the club's Cobham training ground on Friday morning and it is thought to be possible that she, along with Fearn, will retake her place in the dugout this weekend.

Chelsea host Arsenal at Stamford Bridge in the first match of the Premier League weekend in Saturday's early kickoff.
