Chelsea frontman Romelu Lukaku is keen to stay on loan with West Bromwich Albion until the end of the season.

West Bromwich Albion's loanee striker Romelu Lukaku is confident that he will remain at The Hawthorns for the remainder of the Premier League campaign.

Under the terms of the deal that took him from Chelsea to West Brom, the Belgian centre-forward could be recalled by his parent club during the upcoming January transfer window.

However, the 19-year-old has expressed his eagerness to remain with the Baggies beyond the winter.

"I don't think about the option. I am very happy to be here for one year," he told the Express & Star. "Hopefully, this season will end very well and we will see what happens in the future.

"After January, I am sure I will be at West Brom. I am very happy to know that in my head and, hopefully, I will do well for the rest of the season."

Lukaku has scored four goals so far this season.
