Everton defender Phil Jagielka has expressed his delight at keeping a clean sheet against Arsenal on Tuesday night.
The two sides played out an entertaining 0-0 draw at the Emirates Stadium, which leaves both teams still in the hunt for a place in the Premier League's top four.
Despite not being able to find the back of the net, Jagielka, who was named as the man of the match, admits that he is thrilled to have kept a clean sheet against the Gunners.
"It was quite an exciting game, especially in the first half. I'm sure it was a good game other than the lack of goals," Jagielka told Sky Sports News.
"We looked a little bit edgy. We both gave each other quite a lot of respect because of the run of form that both teams are in, we've both got a lot to play for.
"We knew it would be hard coming down here. We've struggled to get points at the Emirates and it was nice to come away with a clean sheet."
Next up for Everton is a trip to the Stadium of Light to take on Sunderland on Saturday.
