Everton want Carles Gil?

Everton are reportedly ready to make a move for Valencia youngster Carles Gil, who is currently on loan at Elche.

Everton are reportedly interested in signing Valencia midfielder Carles Gil in the summer.

According to The Mirror, Toffees manager Roberto Martinez is willing to match the 21-year-old's reported buyout clause of €8m (£6m).

Gil has been impressive during his loan spell at Elche so far this campaign, but his parent club Valencia are keen for him to return to the Mestalla next season.

Atletico Madrid and Sevilla are also said to be monitoring the Spanish youngster's progress.
