Bryan Oviedo confirms that he will miss the World Cup

Everton defender Bryan Oviedo tweets to confirm that he will miss the World Cup in Brazil after suffering a double leg break in January.

Everton defender Bryan Oviedo has confirmed on his Twitter account that he will miss next month's World Cup in Brazil.

The 24-year-old, who suffered a double fracture in his left leg in January, was believed to be on course to return in time for the competition.

Oviedo tweeted on Saturday, however, to confirm that he will miss the tournament.


Oviedo joined Everton from Copenhagen in 2012.
