Inter Milan boss Andrea Stramaccioni believes that he is starting to see signs of progress following a 3-1 away win against Bologna.

Inter Milan manager Andrea Stramaccioni has declared that his side are making significant progress after they beat Bologna in impressive fashion on Sunday.

The Nerazzurri moved up to second in Serie A with an efficient away win thanks to goals from Andrea Ranocchia, Diego Milito and Esteban Cambiasso.

Stramaccioni believes that his side showed they are improving with each performance with the manner of their victory this weekend.

He told reporters: "We struggled at the start of both halves and Bologna showed a lot of spirit, but I liked what I saw from Inter. We were solid and organised and gave little away from open play.

"In my opinion it was a great performance. We are moving forward and I am pleased with the progress we are making.

"I'm trying to do my part. I'm proud to be Inter's coach. When a team wins eight away matches it's a sign of unity. It means that we are focused and motivated."

Inter continue to chase Juventus at the top of Serie A with a midweek match against newly promoted Sampdoria at the San Siro.
