Preview: Leeds United vs. Middlesbrough

Sports Mole previews this weekend's Championship match between Leeds United and Middlesbrough at Elland Road.

Middlesbrough's trip to Elland Road will mark Aitor Karanka's first game in charge since becoming the new head coach of the club following Tony Mowbray's dismissal.

Leeds United could potentially move into the top six of the Championship table if they grab all three points from Boro this weekend.

Brian McDermott's men have lost two of their last six matches in the campaign, but have secured victories over Yeovil Town, Birmingham City and Bournemouth.

Their latest win came just before the international break when they managed to see off Charlton Athletic with a 4-2 victory on away turf.

This weekend's visitors, have not won a game since they thumped Doncaster Rovers 4-0 on October 25, but they managed to come from behind to salvage a 2-2 draw with Watford before the international break.

The last time the two sides met at Elland Road, two goals from Luciano Becchio helped Leeds secure a 2-1 victory over Boro.
