Leicester City have reportedly entered the chase for Nantes midfielder Jordan Veretout, who is said to be in talks with Aston Villa.
The 22-year-old was rumoured to have recently rejected a move to Tottenham Hotspur, with reports adding that Liverpool are keen to secure his signature.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Veretout is due to fly to England over the next two days to discuss an £8m switch to Villa, while Leicester have lodged a £9m bid in the hope of luring the midfielder to the King Power Stadium.
The Frenchman found the back of the net seven times for Nantes in 36 Ligue 1 appearances last season, and provided six assists.
