Manchester United have reportedly terminated the contract of European scout Torben Aakjaer after he posted racial slurs on Facebook.

The Premier League outfit are said to have been alerted to comments made on the social networking website by Aakjear, who is believed to have described a mosque as a "conspiracy-potential prayer shop".

According to The Guardian, the United scout also urged Denmark to put "extra personnel on every crossover and exit so all that eastern Europe dirt and shit can be kept out".

A statement from United read: "The club received the evidence from The Guardian, launched an immediate investigation into the matter and has terminated our association with Mr Aakjaer. Manchester United is an inclusive organisation and will not tolerate this sort of behaviour."

Aakjaer is based in Copenhagen and began working for the Premier League giants in 2011.
