England coach Gary Neville insists that he has no intention of pursuing a career in football management.

Former Manchester United captain Gary Neville has insisted that he has no intention of pursuing a career in football management.

The 37-year-old, who ended his playing career in January 2011, is currently dividing his time between a punditry job with Sky Sports and a coaching position in Roy Hodgson's England setup.

Neville was appointed by the Three Lions in May and was part of the party that travelled to Poland and Ukraine for Euro 2012.

"I really enjoyed it," he said of his first coaching experience. "Who would not enjoy being part of a tournament? It was an incredible experience for me.

"But I am acutely aware it is only the very beginning. I am ambitious and young and I want to learn more.

"I have no aspiration to be a football manager. I want to do what I am doing and make as big an impact as I can."

Neville's current contract with England runs until the summer of 2016.
