Manchester United are reportedly preparing to offer a lucrative new contract to goalkeeper David de Gea.
The Red Devils are on the brink of handing the Spaniard a significant pay rise to ward off interest from Real Madrid, according to The Sun.
United are said to be willing to up De Gea's earnings from £210,000 per week to £300,000 per week, in a move that would make him the club's joint-top earner with Paul Pogba.
Real have been strongly linked with the Spain international in the past and have been tipped to return with a fresh offer before his contract expires in 2019.
Los Blancos are believed to be on the lookout for a long-term replacement for current stopper Keylor Navas, with Athletic Bilbao's Kepa Arrizabalaga and Chelsea's Thibaut Courtois also said to be potential targets.
