Ligue 1 champions Montpellier have continued their inconsistent start to the season with a 1-1 draw at home to Saint-Etienne.

The visitors went in ahead at the break thanks to Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang's goal on the stroke of half-time.

Souleymane Camara levelled for the hosts with 20 minutes to play following good work by Remy Cabella, but they were unable to find a winner.

Montpellier have now won just one of their opening six matches of the season.
