Newcastle United forward Yoan Gouffran feels that the new additions his side have made in the summer have turned the Magpies into a quality side.
Alan Pardew added Siem de Jong, Emmanuel Riviere, Jack Colback, Ayoze Perez, Remy Cabella and Daryl Janmaat to his side to bolster his squad that finished 10th in the Premier League last season.
He told the club's official website: "It is a different squad with new players and a different style of play. But the guys who played in the World Cup are back now, and we have got a very good team.
"The new players will bring a lot of quality to the squad. Manu scored a lot of goals in France and Remy went to the World Cup, so they are two great players.
"Siem was the captain of Ajax and is a very clever player who can score goals and make them too. These players will get the fans excited and that is a good thing."
Newcastle face Manchester City in their Premier League opener on August 17.
