Paris Saint-Germain have confirmed that they have completed the signing of Italian midfielder Marco Veratti from Pescara.
It was understood that the 19-year-old would complete a move to Juventus this summer, but the French outfit have swooped to bring the playmaker to Paris.
"In life, you have to make choices and this kind of proposal may never come again, so I could not say no to PSG. The fact that there are Italians there makes it easier for me in terms of the language," he told Sky Italia.
Veratti follows on from the recent signings of Thiago Silva and Zlatan Ibrahimovic from AC Milan.
