Half-Time Report: Real Madrid, Sevilla level at break

Real Madrid and Sevilla are level after both sides scored in the opening 20 minutes in their La Liga match.

Real Madrid and Sevilla have headed into half time level after both sides scored inside the opening 20 minutes in their La Liga match.

The visitors had a series of chances in the opening 10 minutes, with Gareth Bale missing the target with a shot from distance, while Karim Benzema forced an early save.

However, Real were able to break the deadlock in the 14th minute when Cristiano Ronaldo's free kick deflected into the back of the net after striking the wall.

The lead lasted just five minutes though, as Carlos Bacca, who had been responsible for the deflection, managed to drill the ball in low to get Sevilla back on level terms.

Benzema, Bale and Ronaldo all applied pressure late in the first half as they looked to put the visitors back in front late on, but Beto was able to keep the ball out.
