Real Madrid are reportedly prepared to wait until 2021 before signing Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Real Madrid are reportedly in no rush to complete the signing of Paris Saint-Germain forward Kylian Mbappe.

Despite PSG sporting director Leonardo frequently insisting that a sale will not take place in the summer, it has been claimed that Mbappe has little interest in penning a new contract at Parc des Princes.

With Mbappe having just over two-and-a-half years remaining on his deal, PSG realistically have until 2021 to convince the World Cup winner to commit his future to the club.

However, according to Sport, Real are willing to wait until then in order to sign Mbappe, aware that they could possibly secure his signature for a lower fee.

While the 20-year-old is said to be unhappy at PSG, Real will only be able to fund a bid next summer if they make several high-profile sales.

As it stands, that appears unlikely, leaving Los Blancos to rely on Mbappe to remain patient if he wants to work under idol Zinedine Zidane.
