Mirosav Djukic not expecting repeat performance

Miroslav Djukic says that Valencia have improved since their 3-0 defeat to Swansea City in September.

Valencia coach Miroslav Djukic has said that he does not expect a repeat of September's 3-0 defeat to Swansea City when his team pitch up at the Liberty Stadium this evening.

Los Che top Group A on nine points with the Swans just one behind in second, and both teams will confirm their place in the Europa League knockout stage with a point.

The Welsh side recorded a famous victory at the Mestalla the last time these two sides met, although the Serbian believes that Adil Rami's 10th-minute red card had a big influence on the outcome.

"I don't think we can draw many conclusions from the first game because I think the sending-off was very determinant," he told reporters. "Tomorrow will be different - it will be a very good game because both teams like playing with the ball.

"I think Swansea have their own style and that is that they like to play with the ball, but they suffer a lot when they don't have the ball. This is very typical of [Michael] Laudrup's teams.

"Since the first game, I think we have improved in our play, in our movement, and we are playing better as a team. It's true that, at the moment, the results are not coming, and I think we need some positive results."

Swansea travel to St Gallen for their final fixture, while Valencia will host Kuban Krasnodar.
