Shane Long expects to stay put at West Bromwich Albion

Shane Long suggests that he will remain a West Bromwich Albion player until after the January transfer window.

West Bromwich Albion striker Shane Long has suggested that he will not leave the club during the January transfer window.

The Ireland international has been linked with a move away from The Hawthorns due to his inability to agree fresh terms with the Premier League outfit so far.

However, Long, who was close to a switch to Hull City in the summer, has revealed that he has not been approached by any club this winter.

"At the moment I'm a West Brom player and that's what I'm concentrating on," the Express & Star quotes Long as saying. "There have no offers been put in or accepted so I'm concentrating on training."

There are six months remaining on Long's current contract.
