Half-Time Report: Callum McManaman goal denies Charlton Athletic lead

Wigan Athletic hold Charlton to a 1-1 half-time scoreline at the Valley this afternoon as Callum McManaman cancels out a goal from Jordan Cousins.

Callum McManaman cancelled out an early opener from Jordan Cousins as Wigan Athletic held Charlton Athletic to a 1-1 half-time scoreline at The Valley.

The hosts side started marginally the better of the two teams and did not have to wait long before seeing their dominance rewarded.

Johann Berg Gudmundsson fed Cousins, who cut inside his marker before smashing home the opener from 20 yards after eight minutes.

However, McManaman was on hand to level up the Championship clash in tidy fashion, producing a jinking solo run before slotting home the equaliser to peg the Addicks back at the break.
