Jordon Mutch completes Crystal Palace move

Jordon Mutch joins Crystal Palace on a four-year deal to bring his short time at Queens Park Rangers to an end.

Crystal Palace have confirmed the arrival of Jordon Mutch from Queens Park Rangers on a four-year deal.

The 23-year-old played a key part for Cardiff City in their maiden campaign in the Premier League last season, before jumping ship to join the Hoops for a sum in the region of £5m.

Things have not quite worked out at Loftus Road, however, and the ex-England Under-21s international has now made the move across London for an undisclosed fee.

Mutch, who has also previously spent time at Birmingham City and Derby County, made nine appearances for QPR in the Premier League this season following a series of niggling injury problems.

Having already trained with his new side, the English midfielder could now feature in Saturday's top-flight meeting against Everton at Selhurst Park if selected by manager Alan Pardew.
