Getafe coach Luis Garcia Plaza has played down talk of qualifying for the Champions League as his team prepares to face Malaga tomorrow.
Azulones currently sit seventh in La Liga, three points off tomorrow's opponents, who occupy fourth place.
However, when asked about his team's chances of securing European football next season, Garcia Plaza replied: "Why would we talk about Europe? Let's talk about winning.
"Do we hear Atletico Madrid talking about the title? No. Let's just try and score points.
"Two weeks ago we talked about decline, but in truth it's neither one nor the other."
Getafe defeated Espanyol in their last league outing.
