Mark Robins frustrated by Burnley loss

Mark Robins feels that Huddersfield Town were capable of beating Burnley, but didn't perform to their best.

Huddersfield Town manager Mark Robins believes that his team would have won their Championship clash with Burnley had they been able to match recent performances.

A brace from Martin Paterson was not enough for the Terriers as Danny Ings scored twice and Kieran Tripper added a decisive third, but Robins feels that his side could have achieved more.

Mark told htafc.com: "We didn't get anywhere near the levels that we have done lately and had we done, we would have won.

"It has to be a lesson learned. The adventure was there in last ten minutes when we were 3-1 down, but that isn't what I am looking for. We didn't pass the ball well enough and we didn't deal with their main threats."

Huddersfield face a tricky encounter in the FA Cup third round as they travel to Grimsby on Saturday.
