Manchester United's Marouane Fellaini wary of Aston Villa threat

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini insists that his side will not be taking Aston Villa lightly in this afternoon's Premier League clash at Old Trafford.

Manchester United midfielder Marouane Fellaini has insisted that his side will not be taking Aston Villa lightly this afternoon.

The midtable Villans were thrashed 4-1 by Stoke City last weekend, but Fellaini believes that the Red Devils must perform well against Paul Lambert's men or risk suffering an 11th league defeat of the season.

"We have to stay focused or else risk losing the game," Fellaini told United Review.

"We always take it game by game and try to win. We have the players and the squad to do that, so we will see what happens. We are determined to produce a good performance, earn three points and finish the season on a high.

"Aston Villa lost their last game against Stoke City and they will come here looking for a win because they need the points as well. I think it will be a good game, they have some talented players and they will want to impress their fans at Old Trafford."

United have won their last six matches against Villa, scoring 17 goals in the process.
