Millwall have entered half time in a stalemate with Doncaster Rovers under the caretaker management of Scott Fitzgerald and Neil Harris at the Keepmoat Stadium.
In the first game since the sacking of Steve Lomas, the Lions created the best chance of the opening period when Martyn Woolford drove a shot wide with the goal gaping on the half-hour mark.
It was Millwall who had the better chances before that opportunity as well, with Scott McDonald threatening as early as the second minute when he fired into the side-netting from a tight angle.
Shortly afterwards, Steve Morison struck a half-volley that flew over the crossbar, but he could not connect as well from a good position later in the half with a shot that bobbled into Ross Turnbull's gloves.
Having been on the back foot for 40 minutes, Doncaster nearly broke the deadlock when Liam Wakefield headed over at the back post, moments before visiting keeper David Forde saved Dean Furman's effort at full stretch.
