Gordon Taylor is reportedly expected to keep his job as the chief executive of the Professional Footballers' Association, despite reports of gambling issues.
The 68-year-old is alleged to have racked up £100,000 worth of debt by betting on various football matches and horse racing.
Following the reports, it had been suggested that Taylor's position within the organisation could be under threat due to his reported tough stance on gambling with regards to the footballers he represents.
However, it is understood that Taylor's job is safe and the PFA are expected to release a statement today, according to BBC Sport.
It has been claimed that Taylor lost £15,000 following England's 2-2 draw with Switzerland in 2011.
