Motherwell and Partick Thistle have played to a goalless draw in the final round of fixtures in the Scottish Premiership this afternoon.
Dan Twardzik had to be alert in the Motherwell goal early on as Stephen O'Donnell tried to catch the keeper out with a dipping shot from near the halfway line.
Partick continued to look the more likely in the opening stages as Gary Fraser tried to blast the ball into the top corner, before Stuart Bannigan saw his attempt from long range blocked.
The visitors pressed for an opening goal in the opening stages of the second half, but Fraser fired wide before Christie Elliott's curling effort was held.
Motherwell, who have a relegation playoff against Rangers to come in the next week, started to get forward more in the final half an hour, but Jack Leitch's 20-yard strike could not beat the keeper, while John Sutton failed to open the scoring.
Both sides had chances to steal the win in the final 10 minutes, with Fraser attempting to pick out the top corner for Partick before Sutton headed straight at the keeper with just a couple of minutes to spare.
The result leaves Motherwell 11th in the final standings, while Partick finish eighth.
