Report: Real Madrid hoping Gareth Bale makes Clasico

A report claims that injured Real Madrid attacker Gareth Bale has been placed a special recovery plan ahead of this weekend's La Liga clash with Barcelona.

Real Madrid are reportedly still confident that Gareth Bale has a chance of making El Clasico against Barcelona this weekend.

The Welshman will miss Wednesday's Champions League clash at Liverpool with a hip complaint, which was expected to keep him out for at least two weeks.

However, according to La Sexta, Los Blancos have placed the attacker on a special recovery plan in a bid to have him available for Saturday's clash at the Bernabeu.

It is still said to be unlikely that Bale will return in time, but Madrid are doing all that they can to move his fitness along.

Sergio Ramos is also a doubt for Madrid after picking up an injury on international duty.
