Scotland's James Morrison: 'We're ready for hard work in Euro 2016 qualifiers'

James Morrison insists that he and his Scotland teammates are prepared to put in "a lot of hard work" to qualify for the Euro 2016 finals.

Scotland's James Morrison has insisted that he and his teammates are prepared to knuckle down as they try to secure qualification to the finals of next year's European Championships.

Gordon Strachan's side are currently third in Group D, three points adrift of leaders Poland with four games left to play.

"This is a challenge to be embraced," the Daily Mail quotes Morrison as saying. "We're all aware that we've got an opportunity. The group is really tight at the top and, however many points it takes, we've got to get them.

"This is probably the toughest qualifying section, so it will be a job well done if we can get out of it. It's basically down to the next round of fixtures and there's going to be a lot of hard work involved."

Scotland will face Georgia away on Friday before taking on world champions Germany at Hampden Park on Monday.
