Kevin Wimmer "very disappointed" with Tottenham Hotspur display

Kevin Wimmer expresses his disappointment following Tottenham Hotspur's 3-0 defeat at the hands of Borussia Dortmund in Germany.

Tottenham Hotspur centre-back Kevin Wimmer has admitted that he was "very disappointed" with the way that his side performed away at Borussia Dortmund this evening.

A brace from Marco Reus and a further strike courtesy of Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has all but ended Tottenham's chances of reaching the quarter-finals of the Europa League.

Speaking to BT Sport after the final whistle, Wimmer said: "We are very disappointed with the performance.

"Against a team like Dortmund you can't play like this. We did not press them well."

The 3-0 defeat is the heaviest loss that the North Londoners have suffered all season.
