Tottenham Hotspur are believed to be preparing a £16m move for Napoli striker Lorenzo Insigne in the summer, according to reports.

Tim Sherwood's side are thought to be keen on signing a striker in the summer to bolster their attacking options.

While the North London outfit are said to be favourites to sign on-loan Queens Park Rangers forward Loic Remy, Partenopei forward Insigne is also on the radar of the White Hart Lane outfit, according to TuttoMercatoWeb.com.

The 22-year-old, who has scored twice in 34 Serie A appearances, is reportedly unsettled at the San Paolo and could leave this summer, despite still having another four years left to run on his contract.

Tottenham are currently sixth in the Premier League table.
