Michael Laudrup: 'We didn't deserve to win'

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup admits that his side did not deserve to beat Hull City in their Premier League encounter this evening.

Swansea City manager Michael Laudrup has admitted that his side did not deserve to beat Hull City in this evening's Premier League encounter at the Liberty Stadium.

The Swans were forced to come from a goal behind to draw 1-1 with the Tigers, equalising in the second half through a controversial goal from Chico Flores.

Laudrup has admitted that the game was not a particularly good one to watch and also expressed his belief that, despite his side's improved performance in the second half, a draw was a fair result.

"It wasn't a very good game to watch. First half, we played and played and played but much too slow, no pace on the ball so it was quite easy for Hull to defend," BBC Sport quotes the Dane as saying.

"Second half, we did much better, much quicker, got the equaliser. Had a chance maybe before the second goal but I think after the first half we did not deserve to win this game today."

The result sees Swansea move into the top half of the Premier League table, going above Aston Villa into 10th place.
