West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt reveals that striker Peter Odemwingie has worked hard in training after he failed to secure a move to Queens Park Rangers.

West Bromwich Albion midfielder Chris Brunt has revealed that he would have no problem if Peter Odemwingie made his return to the club's first-team squad.

Odemwingie has not played for the Baggies since he failed to secure a transfer to Queens Park Rangers during the transfer window, but Brunt has insisted that despite the saga that unfolded in January, the Nigerian has continued to work hard in training.

Brunt told the Birmingham Mail: "There are no issues. Football is football. As long everyone is doing their job then nothing that has gone on before will be an issue.

"Since Peter Odemwingie came back he's got his head down and got on with it.

"We've seen in the past what he can do on the pitch and how good he can be."

West Brom manager Steve Clarke has yet to reveal whether Odemwingie will be in his plans for the match with Sunderland on Saturday.
