Burnley and Nottingham Forest are reportedly tracking the progress of Airdrieonians youngster Divine Iserhienrhien, with Dundee United and Hearts also keen.

Burnley and Nottingham Forest are reportedly interested in signing Airdrieonians youngster Divine Iserhienrhien ahead of the summer transfer window.

Although the 15-year-old has not made his first-team debut for Airdrie at this point, he has impressed massively for the club's youth sides in 2023-24.

Iserhienrhien has enjoyed a training stint at Scottish Premiership outfit Hibernian, but is currently based within the academy of second-tier outfit Airdrie.

Rhys McCabe's men are pushing for a place in the Scottish Championship playoffs, beating bottom side Arbroath 5-2 during their most-recent league fixture.

According to the Daily Record, a pair of Premier League outfits are monitoring the progress of Iserhienrhien as the season approaches its final stages.

The first of the English pair is Burnley, who are in the midst of a battle to secure their first-tier status following promotion from the Championship last season.

Vincent Kompany's Clarets are 19th in the top-flight standings, five points behind 17th-placed Luton Town with just nine matches left to play.

The Lancashire club already have a strong connection to the Scottish game, forming a strategic partnership with Premiership outfit Dundee earlier in the campaign.

The Dark Blues have benefitted from the relationship in terms of loan players during the January window, with Owen Dodgson, Michael Mellon and Dara Costelloe all arriving from Turf Moor.

Nottingham Forest are the second English club who are said to be keen on securing the services of Iserhienrhien in the near future, with the Tricky Trees also in danger at the bottom of the Premier League.

After being found guilty of breaching the league's Profit and Sustainability Rules, Nuno Espirito Santo's men were docked four points on Monday and have dropped into the bottom three.

As well as sides in the Premier League, it is understood that Scottish Premiership teams Dundee United and Hearts are tracking the progress of Iserhienrhien.

As to be expected for a player for is only 15 years of age and yet to break into the Airdrie first team, it is believed that the Glaswegian youngster would be a signing for Burnley's academy, rather than an immediate introduction into the senior team.
